Linton Middle School presents Roald Dahl’s “James and the Giant Peach, Jr.” for three exciting performances this spring. The cast of nearly 50 middle school students can be found in the auditorium almost any evening after school between now and opening night, rehearsing lines, blocking scenes and choreographing dance numbers.
This year, a group of students from Penn Hills High School is volunteering for behind-the-scenes roles to run lights and sound, stage-manage, stage crew, direct and choreograph.
The show is directed by Tiffany Sozynski, Laryn McConnell is assistant director, Lauren Fitzroy is creative director, and Brad Keller is the choreographer. Curtain rises 7 p.m. March 13 and 14 with a matinee 1 p.m. March 15 in the school’s auditorium. Tickets are $5 at the door on days of the performance.
